Wedding Bands

Hoho.. Went to Fairy's Inc for the ring fitting session on thur.. It was quite a disappointment. I couldn't link what I saw to the ring I have in mind. Basically, it looks like those copper thingy for the water pipes.. Ehhh…I was told that the ring wld be raw, but I really didnt expect that. We are suppose to try the size and the fonts we want for the engraving part on the day. The consolation is that the ring is way too big for me... The ring size was abit loose for me 2months ago but now, it was too loose...way too loose..keke.. Sb's ring was juz right for him... The lady advised us to go back in a few months time to try out the ring size again cos she's afraid that i might slim down further.. haha... So we scheduled to go back in Jun for fitting again. Therefore, nothing is firm except for the fonts for engraving. Haha.. Sb complaints that we've made a wasted trip. :(

After the fitting, we headed down to great world city, back to Barang Barang.... Of course, for 1 purpose, to change the dining chairs we've ordered. Hehe... The one that we changed to looks more grand and i think its more comfy.. Colour looks nicer as well.. But mom said alot of maintenance required due to the light colour cover.. So whoever coming to my hse, pls extend due care to my chairs okie! :P

Reno phase 1

Last Sun is the day…According to sb's mom, it’s an auspicious date for "dong tu" ceremony. So Sb's dad went to our hse n juz hack whatever is in the house. Its marks the beginning of our renovation. We did it in such a rush cos "ching ming" is round the corner. According to the chinese custom, no one starts reno at this period. Even the contractor told us the same thing. I'm not sure of the consequences of doing so, but better be safe than sorry. Our chosen contractor have locked our house for the reno. A set of key was handed over to us. According to KK (our contractor), the hacking will starts next mon, however, the hacking of walls and relocating toilet entrance will have to be delayed as we are still waiting for HDB's aprroval. Well, hopefully everything includes the carpentry works can be done by mid may so that SB can concentrate on his exams by then. But one definite thing is the reno definitely going to clash with my exams. Actually, doesn't make much difference to me lah, cos i dont spend much time studying even if im idling. haha....

Our Very Own

Finally we've gotten our house keys.. Having been spending the whole of last week bringing contractors to our house, cleaning up the house, cracking our heads on the design & theme of our house etc.. Its quite taxing on both of us with so many things to juggle at the same time. Hopefully we can finalised on the contractor issue soon. I never knew that there are so many details involve when setting up a house. Every single details have to be look into.. I think im under too much stress... Been trying to pick a fight with SB over small matters. Felt really bad about it, but sometimes, its hard to control.

For the moment we have dining table & chairs from barang barang, and L-shape sofa from white living under our inventory list. However, I kinda regret getting the chairs cos the colour of the fabric looks abit dull.. Kinda like those greenish type. Tot of changing to beige colour ones. I guess it will suit my kitchen better. However, the beige ones comes with design that are not as comfy as the greenish ones. Sigh.. Shld i change?? And also for the sofa, we have not chosen the colour and whether we want the L-shape to be on the left or right side of our house. I guess we have to leave it till the carpentries are up.

And for the MBR, i really couldnt decide on the colour theme.. Red or purple?? What i know is i want a cosy & romantic feel for my room! Right from the colour of the curtains to the walls & the bedframe.. And what abt the bathroom? Do i really want it to be black? Is it gg to be dark even during day time? However, maintenance could be simple. Haha...Excellent for lazy bums. Soooooo many things to decide. Im getting confused. Hopefully my house doesn't turns out to be rojak as what predicted by my mom. Keke..

Oh ya, HDB has approved our deferment for ROM. Yeah!! Which means we can hold our ROM on the same day as our customary dinner! However, i don't think i want to hold it during the dinner. Most prob will be evening time, before the cocktail starts... I dont really feel comfortable reading out my vows in front of hundreds.. I might get so nervous that i'll prob say " I Dont" instead of "I Do"... Keke! No lah.. the truth is i only want close frens & family to attend to such sacred moment..
