Reno Phase 2

Its already the third week since our reno started. Time for me to update some progess. Hv been really busy these 2 weeks, meeting up with contractor, buying sinks, toiletware, aircon etc.. It is tiring but at least we started to see some progress and its satisfying.

1st week of reno - The wall n floor tiles of toilet n kitchen are hacked. The walls btw kitchen and dining area was also down. Now, our hse looks much more spacious. I can say we made the right choice. Now, its juz the cooking part that needs some experiment. Wonder if my living area will smells n get oily when i cook. -_-" New toilet entrance was opened as well. The guys did a great job i can say. The hacking doesnt affects the current marble flooring as well as the false ceiling at the foyer. So as to say, we can keep the existing false ceiling. Keke!

2nd week of reno - The tiles was up by the 2nd week and i can see my "or or" MBR toilet and my supposely "resort theme" common toilet. The common toilet did not turn out as wat i expect it to be. But after completion, i'm quite satified with the effect. As for kitchen, the tiles are nice. Wall n floor tiles are very light coloured. It is suppose to create a contrasting effect to my dark brown kitchen cabinet. Mr Tay passed us the painting colour chart. Another headache choosing the colours.

3rd week of reno - Not much work done this week as most of the wet works are done last week. Only minor touchups been done. I was told that the electrical works n piping works will start tml. Therefore, we are meeting Mr Tay to finalise the light points, electrical point's position with Mr Tay tonight.

Sb n i will be taking half day off to buy stuff for our house today. Need to get an aircon & ceiling fan urgently. The painting guys needs the aircon piping to be up before they can start painting. And hopefully can get some lightings for our house as well... :)
